Ovenbird for Salesforce
The account, the opportunity and the case live in Salesforce. Ovenbird reads them, finds where they are in your sales, onboarding or service process, and tells the owner the next step.
In development · designed as described here, not yet connected. Ask for early access; everything else on this page works today with your documents.
Why teams connect it
- The next step on the opportunitySales, onboarding and service processes applied to the record the rep is looking at.
- Handover without the dropSignature to kickoff on the clock, with the contract's terms carried over.
- One task, nothing elseOvenbird writes a task when the rep records what they did. The CRM stays yours.
What flows, and what doesn't
What it reads
- Accounts, contacts, opportunities and cases: stage, owner, amount, close date, type
- Activity history: calls, emails and meetings logged on the record
- Chatter posts and case comments, in order
- Links to Jira, Freshdesk or Slack found in the record
What it writes
- One task or activity on the record when the person says what they did ("Sent the order form on 10 Oct; waiting for signature")
- Nothing to the customer, ever
Processes teams run on it
How it connects
- Designed, not yet connectedOAuth 2.0 (connected app) with read access to the objects you choose and write access limited to tasks. Sandbox first, then production.
- Least accessRead scopes for the objects you choose; write access limited to one note or comment, or none.
- Per workspace, encryptedEach workspace connects its own account. Credentials are encrypted with a separate key and never shared between workspaces.
Questions buyers ask
Does it write to customers or change records?
No. It writes one internal note or comment when a person records what they did. Statuses, replies and approvals stay with your team in Salesforce.
What does it need access to?
OAuth 2.0 (connected app) with read access to the objects you choose and write access limited to tasks. Sandbox first, then production. Each workspace connects its own account; nothing is shared between workspaces, and credentials are stored encrypted.
Does it work before the integration is connected?
Yes. Paste a link to a process document and describe the situation; the next step and the course exist the same minute. The integration adds the record's own history as evidence.
