Ovenbird for Google Docs

Your process lives in a Google Doc. Ovenbird reads it live, follows the version in front of it, and tells people the next step with the paragraph quoted.

Available · connect it from Manage → Integrations.

Where is our returns policy?
Ovenbird reads the record, its history and the thread around it, then applies your document.
NextOvenbird lists the Google Docs registered as processes, with the version each answer followed.
📘 From your process
The step comes from your own document, quoted.

What it reads

  • The document as your process: headings, steps, exceptions, owners
  • The current version each time it answers; the answer shows which version it followed
  • Documents shared with the connected account only

What it writes

  • Suggested edits are shown in Ovenbird for a person to apply; the document is never edited silently
  • Published processes from Design can be exported as a document

How it connects

Questions buyers ask

Does it write to customers or change records?

No. It writes one internal note or comment when a person records what they did. Statuses, replies and approvals stay with your team in Google Docs.

What does it need access to?

Google OAuth credentials (client ID, secret and a refresh token) with read-only Drive scope. Available today: Manage → Integrations → Google Docs & Calendar. Each workspace connects its own account; nothing is shared between workspaces, and credentials are stored encrypted.

Does it work before the integration is connected?

Yes. Paste a link to a process document and describe the situation; the next step and the course exist the same minute. The integration adds the record's own history as evidence.

See it on one of your own documents

Paste a link to a procedure. The next step and the course exist the same minute; connect Google Docs when you are ready.
