Add a process
Link a document you already have, or write the process in Ovenbird.
Processes are managed in Design → Processes. Only owners and admins can add or change them.
- Click Add process.
- Give it a Name.
- Choose where the process lives:
- Fill in When it applies (required). See Write a good "When it applies".
- Optionally add What to look for, an Area (for example Support) and an Owner (shown on answers).
- Click Save. Ovenbird tests the link as it saves and tells you if there's a problem.
- Link a document: paste the link in Document link and click Test link. Confluence pages (any link form), Google Docs and any public https page work. Ovenbird shows the page title, word count and version, and a preview of "What the AI reads". It re-reads the document every 10 minutes, so edits in Confluence or Google Docs are picked up automatically. - Write it in Ovenbird: type or paste the process in The process (plain text or Markdown, at least 50 characters). It's stored in your workspace and you can edit it here any time.
Tip: The quickest way is the Get started checklist: paste a link and Ovenbird fills in the name and "When it applies" for you. You can refine them afterwards.
Other ways to get a process
- Design it from scratch in the Studio, then publish it. See Design a new process.
- Google Docs need the Google integration. See Connect Google.
Plan limits
Free includes 3 processes and Team 25; Business and Enterprise have no limit. See Plans and limits.
