Use a course in your LMS (SCORM)

Download any course as a SCORM package, so people outside Ovenbird take it in your learning platform.

Owners and admins can download any course as a SCORM package, the standard format learning platforms (LMSs) import. People take the course in your LMS without an Ovenbird account, and the LMS records completion and score. It's a way to train partners, customers or contractors who aren't in your workspace.

Download it

Open the course in Learn.
In the course header, click Download for your LMS ▾.
Choose SCORM 1.2 (works in almost every LMS) or SCORM 2004.
In your LMS, add a new SCORM course and upload the .zip file.

The package is in the language you're taking the course in. To make one in another language, switch the course language (🌐) first.

What's in it

The same course people take in Ovenbird:

Overview: what the process is for, why it matters, the stages and the decision points.
Walkthrough: each stage with what you do, when it's done, what to watch out for, the document's own words and a worked example.
Practice: realistic scenarios with feedback and the reason, from the document.
Check: the pass mark is 80%. The LMS gets the score and "passed" or "failed". A pass is never downgraded by a later attempt, and learners can pick up where they left off.

Good to know

It's a snapshot. The package is built from the current version of the process. When the process changes, download a new one and replace it in your LMS.
Some things only work in Ovenbird: practice that adapts to your weak stages, refreshers at 2, 7, 30 and 90 days, answering in your own words, and your team's training records. Results from the LMS stay in the LMS.
Only owners and admins can download packages, because they take the course outside your workspace.
