Review suggested edits
Turn how people actually use a process into concrete improvements to its document.
Ovenbird notices when a process document isn't working and collects signals:
- Marked wrong: someone clicked This is wrong on an answer.
- Had to ask: Ovenbird had to ask clarifying questions to find the next step.
- Deviation: an answer followed a newer decision instead of the documented path.
- Missed in Learn: several people got the same practice scenario wrong.
When a process has signals, its card shows Review with a count. Click it to open the Review panel.
In the Review panel
- Document gaps: stages with no done-when, owner or evidence, and paths that lead nowhere.
- Suggested edits: click Suggest edits and Ovenbird proposes one to five concrete changes, each with the reason and the text before and after. Where it can't know your policy, it leaves a placeholder for the owner to fill in.
- Missed in Learn: which scenarios people got wrong, the most common wrong answer and the right one.
- Signals: everything collected, with its source.
Apply an edit
What you can do depends on where the document lives:
- Written in Ovenbird: Apply to the document rewrites the text and creates a new version.
- Confluence: Post as a Confluence comment posts the edit on the page for its owner to apply.
- Google Docs or a web page: Copy the change and paste it into the document yourself.
You can also Copy or Dismiss an edit. Handled edits are kept under "resolved".
