Connect Jira and Confluence

Connect your Atlassian account in one click, or with an API token.

  1. In Manage → Integrations, open Jira & Confluence.
  2. Click Connect Atlassian.
  3. On Atlassian's page, choose your site and approve access.

You're back in Ovenbird with "Connected to" your site. Access refreshes on its own. If you have several Atlassian sites, pick one under Site. Reconnect repeats the approval; Disconnect removes it.

Or use an API token

Under Or use an API token instead, enter your Site URL, Account email and an API token created in your Atlassian account settings. Project keys is optional. Saving a token replaces the Atlassian account connection, and the other way round.

People's names from Jira

To show who did what on an issue, Ovenbird keeps the Atlassian account IDs and names of people on the issues it reads, and checks them with Atlassian regularly. If someone closes their Atlassian account, their name is removed. When you disconnect, all stored names are replaced with "an Atlassian user".
