Build a process visually
Drag steps onto stages, set owners, time limits and done-when, and add your team's own steps.
The Builder tab shows the process as a board: Start, a column per stage, and Done.
Add steps
The palette on the left has about 65 ready-made steps, grouped by tool: Flow · process logic, Jira, GitHub, Slack, Email, Freshdesk, Confluence, Calendar, QA, Release and Manual. Use Search steps… to find one.
- Drag a step onto a stage, or into a decision's path.
- Or click it to add it after the selected step.
- + Add step at the bottom of a stage adds a blank step; + Stage adds a stage.
Give each stage a name and a Stage done when…. Removing a stage (✕) removes its steps too.
Set up a step
Click a step to open it on the right:
- Step: what to do.
- Type: Step, Approval / review, Wait (timer or reply), Decision, Parallel paths, Loop (repeat until), Sub-process or End.
- Owner: a role or a person.
- Time limit, for example "1 business day", and If it's late (what happens then, for example "remind, then escalate to the support lead").
- Done when, Needs (what it takes in) and Produces (what it hands on).
- Notes.
Duplicate copies a step; Delete step removes it.
Your team's own steps
+ New step adds a step to the palette for the whole workspace: pick the App, a Step name, a Type, and optionally a default Done when and Time limit, then Add to palette. Cards already on boards stay if you remove it later.
Move around
Drag empty space (or hold Space) to pan, use ← → Home End to scroll, and the stage navigator to jump. ✎ Details edits the name, when it applies, when it starts and who keeps it up to date.
Note: Drag and drop needs a mouse or trackpad.
