Find a process or a step fast

Quick search for people who follow processes on the go, for example on a phone at the till or on the shop floor.

Tap 🔍 at the top of any page (or press / on a keyboard) and start typing. Results appear as you type, straight away: there's no AI and nothing to wait for.

Type a few letters of a few words, in any order: ref recei finds "Refund without a receipt". Accents and capitals don't matter.
Each result is a process with the steps that match, their step number, the stage and who does them. The words you typed are highlighted.
Tap a step to open the process's Runbook right at that step, highlighted. Back returns to the same results.
Tap the process name to open its Runbook from the start.
With nothing typed, it lists every live process by area, with Your processes first: the ones with steps for your job role (set in Manage → Members).
Nothing matches? Ask Ovenbird instead opens Ask with your words filled in, so you can ask in a full sentence.

Quick search covers live processes (turned on), their names, when they apply, and every step, including decision paths. A process whose document isn't laid out as steps is found by its name and "when it applies".

Tip: On a phone, add the search page to your home screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) for one-tap access.
